§ What is Pro-Life Unity?

To achieve Pro-Life Unity we will establish standards that we all agree upon, and efforts that we all regularly participate in. By working together we can challenge the culture of death and the apathy which is pervasive in our society.

Psalm 5:3   Thought/Prayer:  Morning, Looking Up?  Topics:  2 at end.

“My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.”  KJV http://www.bible.com  (Read this scripture and more at http://prayerpivot.com)

Some of us enjoy a prayer time early in the morning, perhaps before sunrise on some days.  Others of us look forward to a time of prayer before bed.  There are millions of ways and times to pray, according to the individual supplicant’s preferences.

The psalmist here promises to meet God for prayer in the morning.  He says he will pray to God and “will look up.”  Perhaps he stood with arms stretched up toward the heavens, gazing upward.

No matter how or when we pray, we are heard.  Sometimes it may be easy to criticize a fellow Christian because their prayer life is not laid out like ours.  They may pray in their car on the way to work.  (Although too much “looking up” could become hazardous if driving.)  Or they may spend more hours than we think is necessary to ask God for needs and help.

However it is, we are heard.  Our Task is to Ask, so to speak, in rhyme here.  God’s job is to hear and answer.

Lord, help us to work out our best time to spend with you, and our best method of petitioning you.  All you want is our heart, Lord, and we thank you for the privilege of opening that heart to your grace and love.  As we work out our ministries to the unborn, help us to be faithful to our prayer life, for it is through this channel that our best help comes.  From you, God.  Thank you.

Topics:  Pray for the best time for prayer, between you and God.
