§ What is Pro-Life Unity?

To achieve Pro-Life Unity we will establish standards that we all agree upon, and efforts that we all regularly participate in. By working together we can challenge the culture of death and the apathy which is pervasive in our society.

Psalm 65:13 (Pt. 2)  Thought/Prayer:  The Valleys Shouting.  Topics:  2 at end.

“The pastures are clothed with flocks; the valleys also are covered over with corn; they shout for joy, they also sing.  KJV  (Read this scripture and more at

When we consider the pastures of our hearts readily available (hopefully) for God to cultivate, how would they shout for joy?  How do our hearts, as God’s blank fields, shout!?  Actually, the whole Earth is to do this.  “Shout aloud unto Jehovah, all the earth; break forth and shout for joy, and sing psalms.” (DARBY)

Maybe we can consider shouting to be the outcome of joy.  In this scripture, agriculture is doing well.  The land has produced enough in products to fill valleys with corn and cover the pastures with sheep.  Can it be the same in our hearts?  When God has graciously either provided for us, or when He has blessed us in His service with outcomes-wonderful, do we not feel like a jump and a shout is coming on?  Whether we do actually take our feet off of the floor and get loudly vocal doesn’t matter so much as the feeling that we want to do that because God is so good.

Maybe all of this is the makings of a happy heart.  Happiness and joy often go together, if not always, although perhaps joy has more of a rejoicing attitude in it – well, re-joy-ing it could be.  Our hearts become their happiest when we ask Jesus into them as Savior and Lord.  And then as He gives us blessings, the happiness and joy just grows and grows, and we are into shouting like populated pastures and corn’d valleys.

We rejoice and have happy hearts when welcoming new persons to Planet Earth.  Especially if there has been a battlefield of struggle as to whether to allow a babe in the womb to be birthed, and then that baby is born – what greater joy could there be in hearts of those surrounding that little guy or gal?

But Lord, we pray for those parents who have not yet given themselves over to the birthing of a child.  We request wisdom on their part to not destroy created life, and to honor God.  Then their pastures will be filled with children and their hearts with happiness they never knew.  And as the valleys shout, so will they!

Topics:  Pray for joy in the hearts of parents who expect the unexpected, a surprise baby.  No baby is a surprise to God, and there is already great joy in His great heart for all babies.
