To achieve Pro-Life Unity we will establish standards that we all agree upon, and efforts that we all regularly participate in. By working together we can challenge the culture of death and the apathy which is pervasive in our society.

Psalm 65:13 Thought/Prayer: The Pastures of Our Hearts. Topics: 2 at end.
“The pastures are clothed with flocks; the valleys also are covered over with corn; they shout for joy, they also sing. KJV http://www.bible.com (Read this scripture and more at http://prayerpivot.com)
God’s strength and involvement in nature on Earth is so evident in the Bible. And, happily, nature answers back. Here we have pastures and valleys shouting for joy . . . and singing! Flocks of sheep make clothing for pastures. Can’t you see a pasture wearing one of those fluffy bathrobes with the chenille clumps of white?
What about the pastures of our hearts? We know that God plants our hearts with the seed of the Word and then sprouts it and grows it and harvests it as we allow Him to be the Farmer of Hearts.
We have probably all seen greeting cards or stationery with drawings of beautiful hearts decked with flowers and ribbon. In our minds, can we picture our hearts similarly? “Here is my heart as a beautiful drawing rimmed around with pastureland flowers and grasses.†This heart’s pasture has room for cattle grazing peacefully, enjoying the presence of fellow bovines as they graze along.
Maybe we see more of a meadow than a pasture – grassland dotted with tiny wildflowers purple and white—but not necessarily for grazing of animals. But whatever type of plants God places in our hearts’ pastures, we know that He will cultivate them to perfection and perfect beauty. Our hearts’ pastures are, with Him, pastoral; peaceful, idyllic in nature, and of the most tender plants. Perhaps they are as beautiful as baby’s skin first out of the womb. Our pastures of the heart also open wide for grazing, as directed by our shepherd and King, and they go on and on into the distance as far as He can see.
Lord, thank you for working in our hearts to fulfill your purposes. Help us to want to keep our hearts as tender as babies’ skin and to pray for all babies in the womb at this very hour, that they may be born to cause all of us around them to marvel at their sweet faces and to gently caress their faces with fingers of love.
Topics: Pray for submission to God as He works in the pasture of our heart, to be able to obey Him to grow the best results in His harvest of our hearts.
