“He rules by His might forever;
His eyes keep watch on the nations;
Let not the rebellious exalt themselves. Selah.â€
Merriam-Webster online tells us that “might†is “power, authority, or resources wielded†or “the power, energy, or intensity of which one is capable.â€
The old hymn by Dr. Martin Luther, (1483-1546) declares, “A mighty fortress is our God, a bulwark never failing; . . .“ A bulwark is a strong support, for protection.
Our ONE is capable to the greatest power. God rules by his might because he is The Mighty. If God is the all-encompassing power and authority in the universe; and if he forms a wall of strong support and protection for us, what have we to fear? His power isn’t going to disappear. He rules by His might endlessly, forever!
Pray today that all persons supporting LIFE will feel secure because they are on the side of God who mightily rules, who mightily never ends. The confidence we receive from this is also mighty.
