§ What is Pro-Life Unity?

To achieve Pro-Life Unity we will establish standards that we all agree upon, and efforts that we all regularly participate in. By working together we can challenge the culture of death and the apathy which is pervasive in our society.

Psalm 73:28 (Pt. 3)  Thought/Prayer:  Declare All His Works.  Topics:  2 at end.

Week #43A   Thursday   Declare All His Works     05-28-2010
Psalm 73:28 (Pt. 3   “But it is good for me to draw near to God: I have put my trust in the Lord GOD, that I may declare all thy works.”  KJV http://www.bible.com  (Read this scripture and more at http://prayerpivot.com)

God’s works.  Really, there are no real works besides His, when we consider that there was nothing created before He gave us creation of our natural world and then our own kind, we homo sapiens.  We then must consider that everything that is, comes from Him.

But often we followers of Christ consider more specifically what are His works. We think of the natural world, of course; but then there is so much that comes from inventions such as machines, structures such as buildings, playground equipment, boats with our without motors, even bread itself.  Machines can make bread, but someone had to first make bread, and then someone had to invent the machine to make it.  Machines do so much work for much of mankind – and where machines do not work, people come up with unique ways to do things manually; perhaps the original water dipper was a hollowed-out gourd.  (And He gave us a big and little dipper in the stars.  He gave man the ability to make that connection – little water dipper in our hand; two dippers in the sky.)

Even the paper upon which a Bible is printed is an invented item, as is the original printing press.  And what about music, art, love, philosophy – so many intangibles in life.  All from Him.

God obviously inspires persons to create.  But it all comes from the raw materials He gave us at creation.  And, in a sense, that makes it easy to declare his works.  Because He is everywhere, and His works are everywhere, we need only take one glance, and there is something praiseworthy.  It’s just up to us to be grateful, to thank Him, and to tell others how wonderful we think He is.

Lord, help us to constantly praise you because you are constantly praiseworthy.  Help us to draw near, trust, and then tell of Who you are and all You do.

Topics: Pray to be more and more aware of how God creates, and then remember to praise and thank Him, and to declare His worth to all.
