§ What is Pro-Life Unity?

To achieve Pro-Life Unity we will establish standards that we all agree upon, and efforts that we all regularly participate in. By working together we can challenge the culture of death and the apathy which is pervasive in our society.

Psalm 89:2 (Pt.2)  Thought/Prayer:  Faithfulness in the Heavens. Topics:  2 at end.

I Will Sing of His Love Forever
“I will sing of the loving kindness of Yahweh forever. With my mouth, I will make known your faithfulness to all generations. I indeed declare, ‘Love stands firm forever. You established the heavens. Your faithfulness is in them.’”  (WEB)  (Read these scriptures and more at http://prayerpivot.com.)

Love and faithfulness, of God.  We see here that love lasts forever, firm in its existence.  We also read something about faithfulness here.  The psalmist mentions that faithfulness is, somewhere.  And where?  In the heavens.

In the heavens!?  What could this mean?  What could it mean to us humans who live on the Earth?

We could picture it as a pastoral painting, with sheep on green hillsides and with the alphabet letters of “faithfulness” painted subtlety into the clouds in some manner.  Well, that might be a bit of cloudy stretch.  But what could this mean?

We could see it as God’s hand showing forth His faithfulness at the moment of the Earth’s creation.  In Genesis 1:1 we are told that He created the heavens and the earth.  And we know that His creation was done with faithfulness because this character trait of His is declared in the Bible.  Lamentations 3:22,23 speaks of His mercies and the writer says to Him, “Great is Your faithfulness.”

We can count on God to be faithful.  We can count on Him to help us faithfully with any situation or problem we encounter on Earth.  We can claim this faithfulness for those who struggle so with decisions of death/life/the meaning of life.  We can with great authority declare, that from the very heavens themselves, God is faithful.

Lord, so many need to know this when they are bowed down under the weight of decisions they are required to make, decisions they do not want to make, about someone’s living or dying, even to babies in the womb.  Help us who are outside of these situations to have clarity to proclaim Your faithfulness, so that these who struggle so, will have hope and confidence to make the decisions You would have them make.

Topics:  Pray for great trust in God’s faithfulness and for the ability to pass it along to others who need to tap into it so greatly.
State governors to think of God when making policy decisions, especially about LIFE issues.
