§ What is Pro-Life Unity?

To achieve Pro-Life Unity we will establish standards that we all agree upon, and efforts that we all regularly participate in. By working together we can challenge the culture of death and the apathy which is pervasive in our society.

Psalm 91:4   Thought/Prayer:  Soft Little Feathers of Love.  Topics:  2 at end.

“He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.”  KJV http://www.bible.com  (Read this scripture and more at http://prayerpivot.com)

New life at the nursing home?  Two grandchildren and I were there to visit their great grandmother.  The aviary in the corner of the lobby is always a fun place to spend some time, which we did.  One of the light blue lovebirds kept sort of nestling down on her nest, fluffing feathers and all.  I told the grandchildren that I think she was sitting on eggs.

We never knew for certain because we left the area.  However, today I am going to the home again, and I will check to see if we have any new birdies clamoring for food from the nest.  Or will the little mother be still carefully and watchfully covering with her feathers?

How warm and secure we can feel to know that God describes Himself as a bird!  The maker of all creation promises to cover us with his feathers.  I believe the under-feathers are especially soft and warm, small and able to get tight around little eggs, for warmth.  It’s just a good, comforting picture; and I claim it for Christians everywhere.  Lord, help us to realize how much warmth and comfort and protection you offer us under your wings.  Lord, help us to tell those struggling with difficult circumstances, such as unplanned pregnancy, about this “mothering” love you describe for us.  And thank you.

Topics:  Pray for us to believe how much we are loved and protected by our great God who is willing to describe Himself as a loving mother bird.
