§ What is Pro-Life Unity?

To achieve Pro-Life Unity we will establish standards that we all agree upon, and efforts that we all regularly participate in. By working together we can challenge the culture of death and the apathy which is pervasive in our society.

Psalm 92:14   Yielding Fruit for a Long, Long Time

Speaking of the righteous: “They will still yield fruit in old age; They shall be full of sap and very green . . . “

I had lunch with a family member yesterday; she’s 97 years old.  She loves the Lord.  No, she doesn’t any longer live her “normal” life which was vibrant and active.  Yes, she’s in a senior-care facility.  But, even though she’s not “productive,” she’s still quite a person.  She can’t remember too much—but she still tries to show an interest in others as much as she can.  She’s beautiful of spirit; she never never complains.
I believe she’s basically contented.

I’m learning from her:  She’s still yielding fruit, the fruit of peace.  I’m so thankful that no one can decide that her days are worthless to the point of deciding her length of days for her.  Lord, we pray against that so much; please let us be victorious regarding length-of-days.  Please, we claim this desire of yours and ask that it be applied for a long, long time.
