§ What is Pro-Life Unity?

To achieve Pro-Life Unity we will establish standards that we all agree upon, and efforts that we all regularly participate in. By working together we can challenge the culture of death and the apathy which is pervasive in our society.

Romans 15:30 (Pt. 2)  Thought/Prayer:  Unseen, Yet Eternal.  Topics:  2 at end.

Romans 15:30 (Pt. 2)  “Now I beseech you, brethren, for the Lord Jesus Christ’s sake, and for the love of the Spirit, that ye strive together with me in your prayers to God for me; . . .” KJV http://www.bible.com (Read this scripture and more at http://prayerpivot.com)

When we strive in our prayers, we know we are getting serious about the topic at hand:  In this case, preborn babies.  It is rather interesting, it seems, that when we are really into praying for the unborn to be actually born, in a different sense, we are carrying out another scripture, one that deals with things unseen and eternal. It is 2 Corinthians 4:18, telling us, “While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen, are temporal; but the things which are not seen, are eternal.”  (DRA) (Bible.com)

We know this scripture was not written about the moral issue of abortion.  But doesn’t it fit rather well with striving in prayer for the preborn?  When praying for the babies, of course we can’t see them!  They’re living within Mother.  And, when we think about it, the only things we human beings will ever help create that are eternal are:  babies.  We know that our bodies are not eternal.  That’s obvious!  But, the spirits of all created human beings are eternal.  That’s why Jesus came – to show us the way to having eternal life with Him.

So when we strive in prayer for abortion to end, by praying that the preborn will be birthed, we are praying into eternity.  In our analogy, it is the unborn baby, unseen, yet eternal of spirit (or soul), that if born, will hopefully at some time have the opportunity at some point to be assured that he or she will spend eternity with Jesus Christ.

Lord, we ask you to help us remember these babies, these most exquisite creation of Yours, with their eternal unseen soul.  Although we cannot see them inside their mothers’ wombs, You can.  And we ask you to help more and more and more of these little ones, especially the surprise ones, to be allowed to be born.

Topics:  Pray for the “unseen” that is a baby within a womb.  Pray for their birth and that they will eventually know the unseen that is the eternal reality of Heaven.
