§ What is Pro-Life Unity?

To achieve Pro-Life Unity we will establish standards that we all agree upon, and efforts that we all regularly participate in. By working together we can challenge the culture of death and the apathy which is pervasive in our society.

Timothy 4:2a - Two Types of Weather.

Thought/Prayer:  Two Types of Weather.  Topics:  2 at end.

“Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine; . . . ”  http://www.bible.com/

It’s bitter and icy today, slick and dangerous.  It’s winter in our state.  I’m staying in; perhaps I can catch up on some Bible-reading.
In a few months it will be sweet and thawed, firm and safe here.  This all has to do with the weather.

Spiritually, we go through icy and slick times.  We also enjoy sweet temperatures of comfort and safe havens of God, whether it be in our prayer time, Bible study, or just appreciating God’s gifts.

No matter the weather or our spiritual temperature at any given time, we are to be faithful to share God’s word with others – in season and out.  We are to keep on serving even when we do not feel like it.  We are to persevere.

Lord, we pray that pro-life individuals will press on, no matter the state of the weather, physically or spiritually.  When we’re spiritually dry, please water us with your Word to bring us back to sweet service of purpose.
