To achieve Pro-Life Unity we will establish standards that we all agree upon, and efforts that we all regularly participate in. By working together we can challenge the culture of death and the apathy which is pervasive in our society.

Job 12:10 Thought/Prayer: We All Pull Over. Topics: 2 at end.

Have you ever gotten a bit of a lump in your throat when you see an ambulance coming toward you, and you slow down and pull to the side of the road as soon as you safely can? Sometimes there is something about those brief moments that catch us unaware. There is the question, of course, of who needs the ambulance. There is the (unwanted! really) rush of adrenaline that something exciting is going on. Many of us say prayers for the person having a problem big enough to need this assistance.
But maybe there is another aspect here: The commonality of all of us persons on the face of this Earth. We all know to stop as soon as we can because someone is in trouble. This common awareness, the common actions, are because we are all in this life together; we know when to respect others – especially those in dire need. It’s we and our fellow citizens: knowing the routine, knowing the governance for this type of thing. It’s great. There are no nationalities or political parties here: just folks honoring others by getting out of the way.
Let’s honor other pro-life workers in the same way. We all have a common goal; we all have moments of crisis in the work. Let us take a moment to consider others we know and to just take a moment or two to “pull over” in our minds and hearts to honor them with our thoughts and prayers during a busy day.
Lord, help us to remember that we are all human beings, directly created by You. Help us to honor one another just as we, as a common tie with humanity with all mankind, all pull to the side of the road when someone needs us to.
Topics: Pray for a bit of quiet time to pray for LIFE workers around the globe.
