2 Cor. 2:14 Triumphal Procession.

Thought/Prayer:  Topics:  2 at end.

“But thank God! He has made us his captives and continues to lead us along in Christ’s triumphal procession. Now he uses us to spread the knowledge of Christ everywhere, like a sweet perfume.”

Picture yourself in a wedding procession of Renaissance times.  Either true love reigned in triumph, or two families hopefully triumphed in an arranged marriage. The long empire-waist brocade gowns of the ladies, trail in the grass; flowers encircle fair heads.  There is much music and lightheartedness.

We are in Christ’s procession of victory.  We have fought in His battle, and through Him, we have won.  Circumstances may seem to dull this image, but the battle truly has been won.  We just need to stay close enough to the Commander to wage our part in the war according to His orders.

In the war for LIFE, getting bogged down in short-sighted worries and frustrations only delays the victory.  Let us look above the day’s seemingly impossible tasks.  Pray for pro-lifers to see that the triumph is on the way.

Topics:  Pray for teachers in churches making plans for teaching high school students about life-issues.

Pray for God’s will to be interwoven into our government’s plans for health and welfare.
