Acts 17:10,11 (Pt. 2)  Scripture/Thought: Mental Nobility.  Topics: 2 at end.

After Paul and Silas were in Thessalonica:“The brethren immediately sent Paul and Silas away by night to Berea, and when they arrived, they went into the synagogue of the Jews.

Now these were more noble-minded than those in Thessalonica, for they received the word with great eagerness, examining the Scriptures daily to see whether these things were so.”

Be noble-minded for the least. We talk little of being noble these days. But it’s a Christian trait to be developed. The Bereans were praised for mental nobility by God! Not because they fought with swords and shields – No. But because they read the Scriptures DAILY. God, help us to resist the temptation to other things rather than read from your Word. We must be noble-minded, tuned in to your noble purposes for these tiny pre-borns. We MUST be on the right track for them, and now.
