Galatians 4:4, 5 - Life Honored on Feast Day

Galatians 4:4, 5   Thought/Prayer:  Life Honored on Feast Day.  Topics:  2 at end.

“But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.”

In yesterday’s account of an unborn baby’s life being saved through an 8-year-old girl, it has struck me how appropriate God’s timing was on this – the baby was saved on a feast day honoring the conception of our Lord’s mother, the Virgin Mary—a Catholic holy day, the Feast of the Immaculate Conception at which time God, in his perfect timing, put into action the carrying out of His plan of redemption for the entire human race.  Though there has only been one immaculate conception, the little preborn whose life was threatened (and our Lord’s life was threatened as a baby) was conceived in God’s timing and was saved in God’s timing.

Lord, Praise to You.  And thank you for planning the birth of this beautiful soft, warm and cuddly baby girl before the world began.

Topics:  Pray for children in pro-life homes, that God will use them in His master plans set for eternity.
Pray for all abortion providers, that God will convict them of His will for their lives.
