II Cor. 10:3, 4 (P t. 3)  Thought/Prayer:

Never “Situational”.  Topics:  2 at end.

“We are human, but we don’t wage war as humans do. We use God’s mighty weapons, not worldly weapons, to knock down the strongholds of human reasoning and to destroy false arguments.”

False arguments abound in human arguments.  God is in the business of destroying them.  In the battle for LIFE, some of these arguments center in the “rights” of individuals, a “choice,” or the right to make a choice.  In situational ethics, yes; these lines of reasoning make sense.

But God is never situational when it comes to bottom lines.  He is unflinching and steadfast, immovable and true.  He doesn’t set up a scene such as in a situation comedy on TV, with some problem needing to be resolved or the characters being in a certain situation such as in a work place or family. In these, the foundations of truth are all too often ignored as these problems are addressed through the script.

No!  God doesn’t believe in situational truth.  He lays down laws and the foundations of order that never need to be arranged according to human activity or venue.  He laid down the law of created LIFE.  It’s up to those who believe in Him to stand up for it, to be unflinching and steadfast, immovable and true.

Pray today that those who know created LIFE is the truth will not falter in its defense.

Topics:  Pray that over our nation will sweep a great seeking for the truth of God.
Pray that within our nation will spring up rivers of rushing water in God, that our citizens will be drawn through thirst to the true Fountain of Life.
