II Tim. 1:12 (Pt. 4) & John 1:1-4, 14 Thought/Prayer: I Know WHOM I have Believed. Topics: 2 at end.

“For this reason I also suffer these things, but I am not ashamed; for I know whom I have believed and I am convinced that He is able to guard what I have entrusted to Him until that day.”

Whom have I believed?  Whom have the mothers make appointments at abortion clinics believed?

I’m not naive enough to think that all persons who plan to abort their babies are non-believers.  Believers in Christ can be either apathetic or misled in their thinking regarding abortion (as I once was until awakened through a video at our church), or they are forced into the abortion by other people in their lives.

An amazing thing is, that many pro-life groups have at their core a desire to introduce mom and dad; grandpa and grandma; other family members—and even abortionists and their employees—to Jesus Christ.  Can this not be the absolute best part of these ministries?  It must be, because therein lies not only salvation, but the foundation not only for heavenly guidance for these moms, dads and others, but the basis for the belief that LIFE is sacred and that it is created by God.

Jesus Christ was the “Word” in creation:  John 1:1-4, 14
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
The same was in the beginning with God.
All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
In him was life; and the life was the light of men.”

“And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.”

Pray today that pro-life ministries will present the gospel in ways that are spiritually well-understood by abortion-minded men and women and that many would find salvation and a new view of life and LIFE issues (especially those who are already Christians).

Topics:  Pray that thousands would know Christ because of the ministries of pro-life people and that those Christians who are heading toward abortion will rethink that decision BECAUSE they are Christians and possibly because pro-life counselors at abortion clinics are there to remind them of their Christian heritage and values.

Pray that Peter Shinn’s ministry, Organized for Life will have great funding in order that through this, Peter and others will be able to turn many to LIFE and also to life in Christ.
