Psalm 1:1-3 - Roots Drinking Well.

Thought/Prayer:  Topics:  2 at end.

“Blessed is the man
who walks not in the counsel of the wicked,
nor stands in the way of sinners,
nor sits in the seat of scoffers;
but his delight is in the law of the LORD,
and on his law he meditates day and night.
He is like a tree
planted by streams of water
that yields its fruit in its season,
and its leaf does not wither.
In all that he does, he prospers.”

Not only are we deep into the roots of Jesus Christ, we are like trees that have ample water and bear fruit at the time we’re supposed to.  As trees seeking water along a riverbank, our roots know just how to grow to the supply.  Christ knows how to lead us to life-giving waters so our roots can drink well.

As we root ourselves tight with His words and His prayers for us (found especially in John 17), we will prosper.  How important it is for pro-life Christians to edify ourselves into spiritual prosperity in order to serve better.  Pray that those on the front lines in the battle for LIFE will always be armed with the power of Christ through our growing ourselves into Him daily.
