Psalm 119:73 (Pt. 3) Thought/Prayer: Most Precious Hands. Topics: 2 at end.
“Your hands have made me and fashioned me: give me understanding, that I may learn your commandments.” (AKJV) (Read this scripture and more at http://prayerpivot.com.)
The precious: Hands of a baby with those tiny fingers, tiny nails on the tips
The precious hands of the woman putting a coin in the temple treasury
The precious hands of the father tossing plastic baseballs to his toddler son
The precious hands of the nun, administering cooling relief to the burning brow of the ill
The precious hands of a faithful husband, patting the head of his wife
All so precious.
But none so precious as the hands of Christ. His . . . precious in mercy and service and healing. Precious in friendship and loving kids. Precious in worship.
No hands so precious as His, pierced from nails.
He took the nails for us, for everyone. Willingly. In sacrifice.
Praise Him, Praise Him.
With song writer Fannie Crosby in 1869:
“Praise Him! Praise Him! Jesus, our blessed Redeemer!
Sing, O Earth, His wonderful love proclaim!”
How we do praise You, Lord.
And thank You.
Thank You in one special way: For the children whose mothers chose LIFE, that they may one day praise You.
Thank you for Your precious hands that took the nails.
Topics: Praise God on this Good Friday, for Christ and His choice to take nails – to rise – for salvation for those who receive it.
Pray for salvation of millions around the globe because of Good Friday and Easter Sunday
