Psalm 59:10 (Pt. 2)  Thought/Prayer: Intangible Enemies.  Topics:  2 at end.

“My God in his steadfast love will meet me;
God will let me look in triumph on my enemies.”

Who are the enemies we face when we care about LIFE in our world?  That legislator who never votes pro-life?  The friend who seems to become rather hostile when mention is made of our pro-life activities?  All abortionists?

I personally prefer to not view the above as “enemies,” but rather those to whom the truth has not been allowed to come through as to be understandable.  But, there are other enemies I don’t hesitate to label as such.  These could be called intangible enemies because they are not “physical,” but also we can see the effects of these played out on the faces of, or in the lifestyles of, people.

Anything I fight against for the cause of LIFE can be my enemy.  God has promised not only to allow us to overcome and see enemies cowering, but he does it steadfastly and with His love.  It’s the same love that, in my view, He wants to see overcoming these non-physical enemies.  Pray today that pro-life people will be able to see positively, and not negatively, the potential to overcome any enemy, physical or not.

Topics:  Pray today for pro-life workers to see the potential for victory within our God’s great love.

Pray for seniors in high school this year, that in some way, at some time, while they are perhaps still a bit moldable in their school venue, they will be convicted to stand for LIFE and to carry this view out from the school setting into life-settings wherever they may be.
