Psalm 89:10 (Pt. 3) Thought/Prayer: Attack God’s Enemies as Worthless? Topics: 2 at end.
“You scattered Your enemies with Your mighty arm.”
What are our enemies? Anything that goes against what our God stands for. So, since he stands for love, hate is an enemy of ours. Since he stands for righteousness, unrighteousness is our enemy. He stands for purity; impurity is our enemy. We can go on and on with light/darkness; truth/lies; or loyalty/disloyalty.
In the battle for life’s culture, can we not, then, attack as worthless and disgusting those who hate; are unrighteous; are impure; bring darkness in whatever they do; are liars or disloyal?
NO. First, we must ask God to cleanse in our own lives all these areas he goes against. Let God take the speck out of our own eyes first.
NO, we cannot ignore and dismiss those who revel against God. For all the pain and suffering we see dished out by these enemies of God, we must pray for them. We must ask HIM to change them, for we cannot. It is only our God who can turn them around, and then they can become righteous, pure, light to the world, truthful and loyal. If we dismiss them as “untouchable” in our minds, we limit the potential that lies within them.
Pray today that we will see through the layers and layers of sludge and muck. Pray for those who hate us because they hate God. He will convict and cleanse and change.
Topics: Pray for late-term abortionists that God will cleanse them, at their request because of His conviction in their hearts.
Pray for the next babies in the world about to be aborted, that something will happen to prevent this: something supernatural from God.
