juda myers 11.4.2010

Well we saw change November 2, 2010. When people actually get up and do something, things do change. There is a silent majority that seems to hold everything inside until they can’t take it any longer. But what if people continually did what is right and made an effort to keep this country as the founders intended – as God intended?

The sign above is what anti Personhood people held. These people are against people like me because I was conceived in rape. They use my situation as an excuse to kill. Next time I want to gather a huge crowd of people conceived in rape to stand there with signs that ask if we deserve the death penalty for the crime of our fathers.

I was so very disappointed knowing Colorado actually voted against Personhood. This marks the second time people voted against giving persons rights from conception to death outside the womb. Are there that many people wanting to deny a person in early development the right to life? I guess there are or perhaps other people were just too lazy to vote. I just can’t understand why abortion is such a coveted activity by the average person. For the abortion mills it’s certainly the money but why do regular people insist on hurting women and killing babies all the while saying it’s “to help women?” It has been proven over and over that even in the cases of rape abortion does not help a woman or girl. It adds to the trauma.

Wall Street Journal, columnist Dionne Searcey quoted,
Personhood Colorado spokeswoman Jennifer Mason told the Post: “We’re excited to try again next election.”

“What part of ‘no’ don’t they understand?” asked opposition campaign director Fofi Mendez.(pictured above left)
The story says that the groups opposed to the measure – a local Planned Parenthood group, NARAL Pro-Choice Colorado – raised about 10 times the cash that the measure’s supporters were able to compile.

Well Ms. Fofi Mendez , what part of “know’ don’t you understand? Pro lifers know life begins at conception and millions of babies are being killed by Planned Parenthood for blood money. That’s why true pro lifers will never take no for an answer.

Ms. Mendez used the case of rape (as most people do) grasping for an emotional reason to kill. “It is inviting politicians, courts and lawyers into our personal private decisions, like when we use family planning,” said Mendez. “If we’re raped, if we choose to have an abortion that’s the impact that this amendment has.”

I’d also like to tell Ms. Mendez that killing part of your family is technically not “family planning.” It should be called family execution, exclusion, rejection or disposal, but not planning.  She went on to say, “I think that the majority of Americans believe that individuals should be able to choose whether they want to have an abortion, and that these are personal private decisions that the government should not be intruding in on,” said Mendez. Oh really? So why have the government pay for abortions? Seems like she’s in favor of government taking funds from our pockets to kill the unborn but doesn’t want government to make laws protecting less fortunate humans targeted for death.

Former editor of Colorado Springs Independent, Cara DeGette was working as communications director for the effort to defeat Amendment 62 and quotes this guy in a press release: “We do not believe state law should be based on a religious belief or doctrine,” said Jeremy Shaver, executive director of The Interfaith Alliance of Colorado. “The wording of Amendment 62 would make one religious viewpoint the law of the land when it comes to health care.”

Am I to believe that people will be people and evil will continue to accelerate? Maybe it will but I cannot sit back and do nothing and be able to stand before God without guilt covering me. If I do not warn people about the atrocity of abortion then I stand guilty before God. Ezekiel 3:18 “When I say to a wicked man, ‘You will surely die,’ and you do not warn him or speak out to dissuade him from his evil ways in order to save his life, that wicked man will die for his sin, and I will hold you accountable for his blood. 19 But if you do warn the wicked man and he does not turn from his wickedness or from his evil ways, he will die for his sin; but you will have saved yourself.”

Sadly there is more money supporting death than life. And since Planned Parenthood makes so much money from abortions they are able to keep the circle going. Please consider donating to pro life organizations. Also become active at abortion clinics to just stand and show your presence. It makes a difference. Talk to your friends. Talk to your pastors. Please don’t just sit there. You are needed desperately.

While some think it is out of hate that we are against abortion it is clear that God will hold us accountable for not telling people. In the New Testament we are instructed to love. Tell them in love. It isn’t‘loving’ to let someone hurt themselves or others. How does a person change lest they be instructed?

While there have been disappointments here and there we can rejoice that there has been a surge of pro life, pro God, pro constitution type Republicans to replace Democrats. Funny how most of the “pro life” Democrats who slid over to the side of the Healthcare Bill are now gone. Now that’s a nice change! And someone who is 100% pro life is still there. It makes me wonder.

imageDan Lipinski, Democrat,(pictured left) didn’t waiver in his pro life stand and he was blessed for it.  Yes there are some who are still there that are not pro life but we must look at the progress in this election and press forward.

We don’t always see the results so clearly when we do what is right but surely the rewards will be there. We must not give up.  Continue calling, talking, urging. Continue praying. Pray for those candidates that were pro life and didn’t win to continue in their fight. These are just obstacles not ends. We need everyone to stay engaged in the fight. We can contact our lawmakers now that there are new ones with possible open hearts.

We’ve seen a change for the better. Let’s not give up doing what is right.
Lives are depending on us.
