Preaching to the pews

I have, on occasion, visited large churches in which the pastors later revealed that in the beginning he preached to the pews. It is always hard to believe when you join a large organization, like a church, that it was ever small. A week ago I had the honor of hosting a pro-life event which lasted a full week. After weeks of planning and many signing up to attend and speak, the final count was… well, let’s just say small. The truth is, I was a little disappointed at first, but then God reminded me that sometimes you have to do things just because they are the right thing to do. A pastor preaching to the pews may seem a little crazy, but dedication to what you believe in is likely to make you look crazy at some point. Dedication means pressing on and fighting until you have nothing else to give. We, as Abortion Abolitionists, are fighting for lives and the right to live; shouldn’t we be willing to look crazy sometimes?
