To achieve Pro-Life Unity we will establish standards that we all agree upon, and efforts that we all regularly participate in. By working together we can challenge the culture of death and the apathy which is pervasive in our society.

Constitutionalist, libertarian, and foe of abortion; each of these terms has accurately described the character of former presidential candidate, Ron Paul. A persistent representative of life, the former obstetrician faithfully clung to his convictions prior to campaigning for the presidential spotlight. Having proposed the “We the People Act” and the “Sanctity of Human Life Act” in 2005 and 2007, Paul’s intentions for dissolving the authority sanctioned in the Roe vs. Wade case were intentionally bold. Dismissing the 1973 case as unconstitutional and contrary to Natural Law, Paul gained support from figures who shared his passion, including Norma Jean McCorvey—-founder of No Roe Ministries. Adhering to our forefathers’ understanding of governmental
limitations, Ron Paul simply reacted upon the significances asserted within Amendment Ten; that is, that federalism could not wield authority granted to states alone.

Within opportunity, Ron Paul continues to work towards preserving life for the most helpless among us, speaking out for the circumstances of those such as Terri Schiavo, as well as the unborn. Throughout his tireless efforts, Ron Paul’s very pattern of choices proves that beliefs and actions do not stand separately—-rather, that our actions attest to out heart of hearts. In the cause and purity of liberty, Ron Paul is relentless.

Although he partly attributes his pro-life stance to his experience following the deliverance of more than 4,000 babies, Ron Paul’s true motive for protecting life stems from the fact that life begins at conception at the will of the Creator (Jeremiah 1:5). As a self-professing follower of Jesus Christ, Congressman Paul rationally recognizes that truth is absent without the Definer and Source of truth (John 14:6). In a morally degenerate age, Ron Paul successfully displays the fact that politics need not separate church from state. Rather, his consistence reaffirms the realism that biblical morality and justice go hand-in-hand, and are necessary in upholding an order of logic and virtue.
