Atlanta, GA - Calling the Church to Unity, June 30 at the Capitol!

There’s an exciting new movement inspired by the Holy Spirit in Atlanta: “Calling The Church to Unity (CTC2UNITY)”, whose purpose is to “break ground, remove walls and build bridges” amongst the disciples of Jesus Christ in Metro Atlanta!  This is a crucial element in our fight to end prenatal murder in GA.

I am excited to announce their first quarterly city wide event: “The Upper Room; The Church in One Accord” in the Georgia State Capital June 30, 2008, 11:30am-1:30pm.

CTC2Unity Coordinator Carla Tibbs invites all to “gather in One Accord in the Capital and agree to agree with the Holy Spirit regarding His Church. This is a time to gather our selves as One Body in a demonstration of the Unity. No frills! No Perks!  … Come and link arms with us as one family, one church, one body.  I am not asking you to join an organization. Just be the family of God joined together. I am asking you to link with us as we full fill the prayer of Jesus that we would be one as He and the Father are one.”
The event will begin at 11:30am with greeting and fellowship time; 12noon to 1PM is designated prayer time, with time for closing remarks and fellowship concluding at 1:30pm.
Volunteers are welcome and needed:

A. show up early during set up to pray and prepare the atmosphere for prayer.
B. we will have two teams, one for set up and a second for tear down.
C. greeters to bless and hand out prayer guides and vision focus

Your participation will encourage others, so please RSVP to Carla Tibbs asap.  Also, please make sure to contact her in advance if you’d like to volunteer.

Carla can be reached at 404/863-5841 or by e-mailing her at .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).  Directions and parking info for the Capitol can be found at: http://sos.georgia.gov/museum/map_directions_access.htm

Also, CTC2Unity has a working meeting every Monday and all meetings are open!  All are welcome and encouraged to attend!  The next two meetings (June 16 and June 23) will be at 7pm at The City Center, 6502 Gresham Street , Union City , GA. 30291.  The locations for subsequent Monday nights are to be announced.
