Bill O’Reilly said he wouldn’t oppose the killing of Jews if it were the law of the land
Update 03/29/14 - Apology to Bill O’Reilly with additional comment
Ok, he didn’t exactly say that, but he did say:
“I’m personally opposed to abortion because I’m Catholic, but in public policy I’m going to carry out the law of the land, Roe v Wade, and not oppose.”
I have to say up front, I believe O’Reilly is the most outspoken person on abortion in the public media, but that’s all he does, he talks, while babies die. I know a bunch of people are going to attack me, but hear me out.
If he says he will “not oppose” because abortion is the law of the land, doesn’t that mean he wouldn’t have done anything against the incarcerating and killing of Jews? There’s no doubt people in Germany either supported the persecution of them, were too scared to defend them, were indifferent to their plight, or died defending them. Bill O’Reilly, you do not fit in the last category. You know abortion is wrong, you know it’s evil and you attack the Democrats for being pro-abortion almost every day, yet you do nothing publicly to end abortion. I assume that’s what you mean by you do “not oppose.”
You don’t come close to having the honor of great men like Dietrich Bonhoeffer, who died defending the persecuted and the Jews. And you’re not alone. There are other public figures who profit from the death of the preborn, like Laura Ingraham, Ann Coulter Mark Levin, Rush Limbaugh and more, people who never rally the public to stand for the defenseless in the womb. Yes, if all they do is use abortion as a topic for their shows, they are profiting from abortion.
Unfortunately, the pro-life movement won’t call them out, perhaps because they are afraid they won’t get an appearance on their shows if they do. I pray one day a pro-life leader who is being interviewed on Fox News actually looks the interviewer in the eye and asks that person, “Where are you on this issue? Why don’t you go out to or rally people to an abortion facility? How come you aren’t leading the charge to end abortion?”
Abortion isn’t a show and it isn’t a talking-point, it is the intentional killing of a living human being in the womb, a place that should be the safest in the world!
If the so-called “conservative pro-life” media would stand for the people who are being killed in the womb at the rate of over 3,000 per day in America, perhaps we would end abortion much sooner. Bill O’Reilly, you are a man of God, a human being with the responsibility to defend His children, our brothers and sisters, from abortion and crimes against humanity, not use them for a show to get better ratings!
