Planned Parenthood of Kansas sues to keep tax funding
Topeka, KS, June 28, 2011 (LifeSiteNews.com) – Planned Parenthood of Kansas and Mid-Missouri has filed suit against the state of Kansas to restore $330,000 in funding that has been re-allocated to prioritize non-abortion providing health care centers.
The new law, signed by Gov. Sam Brownback in May, puts organizations that supply abortions at the bottom of the list of recipients of tax funds.
